C.C. Grace is a reincarnation of the spirit of 1970s Southern California
cosmic country folk-rock, currently living in Pasadena, CA. Little is
known of her early life. She appears to have emerged on the California
music scene full-grown.
Some say she is the alter-ego of Callie
Cardamon, a jazz singer also living in Pasadena, CA. But Callie Cardamon
is a brunette and barely five feet tall, whereas C.C. Grace is a blonde
and easily 5’2” (in her kick-ass cowboy boots), so that couldn’t be
true.
Plus, C.C. Grace denies that she is anyone’s alter-ego and finds
it insulting to be considered a mere creation of someone else’s
imagination. Regardless of who she is and where she came from, this girl
can sing a song and bring tears to your eyes. Her sultry voice and
finger-style guitar-playing, reminiscent of James Taylor, Jim Croce, and
Joni Mitchell, will soothe the ears and the soul. Give her a spin!

Debby Clinton's Platinum Sound Records of Mountain Park, Oklahoma rocks the music charts
MOUNTAIN PARK, OKLAHOMA (IFS) -- In this sleepy little community of about 500 people, with the local schools being the center of attention, quietly in the home office of Debby Clinton, she runs a recording empire that has been going very strong since 1976. Clinton's little company Platinum Sound Productions that inked a recording and distribution deal with Frank Slay's Claridge Records back in the early days when her partners were branching out from Motown Records.
Clinton is also an actress that has appeared in many films including with Hong Kong's Bruce Li, Chuck Norris, and several others. But her love of the recording business really took her by storm. It has always been her first love and when she first met RG Ingersoll, who introduced her to Lee Rogers and Kenny Smith, and that's what we call it history. Clinton actually took control of Platinum Sound back in 2004, ask the SDC OmniMedia Group would periodically release several compilation CDs from various artists on the label over the years.
Clinton is behind the RG's All Nite Funk Band with three major charting songs in the pass two years, and with two artists riding the national charts as this story is being put together.
It would only be three (3) years later that Sir Paul McCartney of MPL Communications would purchase all of Claridge Records. Along with the Platinum Sound Records, all of the masters of the Four Seasons, Mitch Ryder, Bo Kirkland, Ruth Davis, Freddie Canon, Sugarloaf and Cardella DiMilo.
McCartney's streamlining of Claridge Records and its publishing arm all went into the catalog of Wen Music. As Platinum Sound was only an independent production house, Lee Rogers our CEO/President at that time decided it would be a better deal if we went on our own.
Platinum Sound Records was born with the release of Lee Rogers' "Second Thoughts" produced by RG Ingersoll for his Hotrax Productions.

Clinton has been active in the music business for over twenty-five years and this quiet beautiful lady does not even let her neighbors know anything about her music and/or business attributes.
Burning the midnight oil, you would fine Clinton up at all hours of the night working on websites, group and record productions and promotions. Yet a grandmother, she always find some time to be with her children and grand children. But grandma rocks.
It was with little hesitation that Smith decided to record Clinton's first release for the Mountain Park, Oklahoma, with the hot label and moving it from Memphis, Tennessee. Clinton is the co-writer on several of the new songs along with Ingersoll and including a rendition of her first single 'Love Confusion". The album/CD is entitled "Brain Freeze: The Memphis Sessions" by Kenny Smith with Clinton as the executive producer. The CD will be released by January 2016 for Platinum Sound Records.

Charlie Sayles and Tony Fazio
Charlie recalls hearing music in Vietnam by bands touring to entertain the troops. There the impression of how music can make people feel was imprinted. Going from not being allowed to speak or make a sound on mission with the 101st airborne to hearing a Sonny Boy Williamson tune congealed Charlie's career of speaking with the harmonica.
Such is the background that landed Charlie back to Roxbury, Mass where he taught himself the harmonica. Massachusetts is the state where he was born in 1948. Son of a trumpet player, he spent his childhood in foster homes. In 1971, while playing the streets for money in Atlanta Georgia, a musician friend made the mistake of saying Charlie couldn't write a song. "I Like, What I Like" was composed 30 minutes later and is still part of Charlie's repertoire.
In New York, the curator for American art, music, and folk culture at the Smithsonian, Ralph Rinzler, heard Charlie playing on a street corner and set him up playing the harmonica with Pete Seeger. Charlie went on to play with the likes of Bill Monroe and Bobby Parker and audiences all over the United States and internationally have enjoyed his vocals and speaking harp, including President Jimmy Carter and audiences at Carnegie Hall.
His first album was in 1976 on the Dusty Road Label. He has several releases on JSP Records. Preferring to keep his street playing current, Charlie likens more formal concerts to putting on armor and going to war again. Charlie has been sponsored by the National Endownment for the Arts to teach harmonica to inmates in Washington DC.
Consciously or subconsciously, shunning the big name career track seems to keep him close to the roots of his inspiration to write and perform while staying an original. Charlie has also received his share of betrayal in the business but seems to keep on keeping on.

Jeffrey
Born in New Jersey and now calling New York home, singer songwriter Jeffrey is equally at home writing music or on stage performing. This acoustic style of music is new to this former cabaret performer who has performed at most of the New York cabaret venues. “ I have always been drawn to this acoustic style of music and it wasn’t until I studied to play guitar that I started to write my own music.”
Jeffrey will release his songs as they are completed versus waiting for the entire project to be finished. “Feelings and emotions are changing, as are my songs. I want them to be genuine. I don’t want a final date to dictate when the music is ready”.

Keeton Coffman
The new EP release The Ghost, shows songwriter Keeton Coffman's unique ability to cross genres seamlessly in this powerful group of radio friendly indie pop songs.
After performing and writing for The 71's, who found success in TV placements, were featured on news specials in Houston, and named best new band in Houston, Keeton went his own direction as a solo artist in
2013 and has been performing live and writing full time ever since.
The Ghost EP features an array of brilliant songwriting and unique structure and arrangement.
The first single "The Letter" is a catchy, up beat indie folk pop song that tells a classic love story.
The songwriter explains the questions posed by the song. "What does True Love do in the face of betrayal? What does True Love say to the now helpless heart that once wounded it? How far will True Love go to restore what once was?"
Another single "The Hunted And The Hunter ", is a fully orchestrated track with beautiful and addictive piano sections and a film score-like atmosphere to it.
"I wrote The Hunted And The Hunter as an allegory about my relationship (still in progress, no doubt) with my Creator. From a distance the concept of God terrifies me - it's difficult to trust what you don't fully know. And yet, as I follow His whispers His presence feels more like rain, and less like thunder. " says Keeton of the piece.
Though each song is disguised as a pop tune with catchy melody, elaborate yet accessible instrumentation, and Keeton's heartfelt and authentic vocal presentation... The songs are actually character portraits. Paintings of people caught in the middle of critical life experiences. Keeton Coffman consistently describes his writing process as initially journeying out to create fictional characters, and yet in hindsight, finding himself in each one.
In the last two years, Keeton has performed live in venues across Houston with such artists as Jessie Ware, William Beckett, Ellis Paul, David Ramirez, Daley, and Andrew Ripp. He will be performing with “The Voice” finalist, Nicholas David in February 2015.

MARLON WELCH
Compton musician MARLON WELCH is a musical amalgam. Defying traditional genre categories, Welch carves out his own niche in the current musical landscape by combining musical elements evocative of old school R&B legends like Luther Vandross and Marvin Gaye with modern pop tastes to produce a fresh sound. His new single IN THE CROWD is the exciting first glimpse into his eclectic musical persona. The track fearlessly kicks off with Welch’s bare vocals and quickly explodes into an up-tempo musical melting pot combining a strong modern beat with jazzy referential brass accompaniments. By harkening back to earlier eras of Blues and Soul, Welch unpretentiously elevates his R&B sound to a level of sophistication that is often lacking in the genre while simultaneously injecting levity through its pop characteristics. This unexpected merger of old and new produces a sound that is undeniably feel-good and catchy while maintaining musical integrity through its classic R&B references.
As a lifelong artist, musical integrity has notable importance for Welch. Growing up in a household dedicated to classic R&B and performing weekly in the church choir left Welch’s musical identity imprinted with elements of soul, funk, and gospel. Concurrently, Welch maintained appreciation for modern performers and sounds. Passionate about entertainment from a young age, Welch entered a local poetry contest, which gave him the opportunity to meet Beyoncé Knowles. After hearing Welch’s piece, Welch recalls the living legend meeting his gaze and firmly telling him to keep writing and never abandon his musical dreams. Welch cites this experience as a defining moment; when his musical dreams became his identity.
While IN THE CROWD is not Welch’s first foray into the music industry, it marks his first true musical introduction to the world. As a young artist, Welch released an EP, which led to prominent opportunities with Capitol Records that exposed him to all aspects of life as a recording artist. Having opened for major artists, composed music, performed in front of large audiences as part of a national tour, and recorded a music video for his lead single, Welch was fully immersed in the music industry by age 20.
After being delivered a shocking medical diagnosis, Welch suffered clinical depression and chose to take a hiatus from recording to focus on his health and education by returning to the Los Angeles Recording School. Through months of therapy and introspection, Welch achieved a deeper understanding of himself. When he slowly resumed songwriting and collaborating with other artists, he found that he had a radically different persona. His message was more sincere, his delivery more vulnerable, and his image more bohemian. Welch had entered a new era musically, and began developing a new EP as an independent artist, allowing him greater sincerity in both his image and sound. Despite facing adversity and spiritual rebirth at a young age, Welch maintains exuberance by choosing to boldly reemerge on the music scene as a bohemian, eclectic artist inspired by Soul and infused with modern pop/dance as showcased in IN THE CROWD.

Dina Valenz
With My Shades On… The Pop Shines Bright
Dina Valenz’s latest release is an eclectic and infectious collision of pop, EDM, and country. It seems the only known cure is just one more cue.
“Dina brings out a new harder club goddess edge. Taking a gamble on changing things up to reflect an expansion of range, proved a good one.” - Music Emissions
(SAN, PEDRO, CALIFORNIA) FEBRUARY 10th, 2015 – It’s almost always sunny in singer-songwriter Dina Valenz’s hometown of San
With My Shades On is a six-track EP follow-up to Dina’s critically acclaimed 2013 debut release entitled Miles and Miles. While With My Shades On still features Valenz's trademark “straight from the soul” songwriting, the new album has a decidedly different flavor and style. “I’ve always been confident in my abilities as a songwriter, but I feel bolder now with this new groove and sound.”
With My Shades On is an eclectic mix of songs with lyrical glimpses into Dina’s personal life experience that - as a songwriter - she composed purposely to resonate also with fans. The title track, about moving on in a relationship, also has deeper meaning for Valenz herself, as she explains… “In the music industry’s ups and downs, you sometimes want to give up, but deep down, you love it. You just put your shades on and go out and do the show.”
Dina’s performances started on the playground as a kid with a guitar but have progressed to the likes of House of Blues in Hollywood, Genghis Cohen and Skinny’s Lounge in Southern California. The EP Release will be March 6th, 2015 at Molly Malone’s in Los Angeles at 8:30pm in the evening. However, don’t worry, everyone will be thereWith My Shades On, because the pop’s bright when Dina plays!
###
Dina Valenz - Artist Bio
Widening her sphere beyond prominent regular performances in outdoor music settings – including a recent stint at the Long Beach Town Center Live Music Series – the San Pedro raised, L.A. based vocal dynamo has been a popular attraction on the festival and fair circuit. In 2014, she did three shows at the San Diego County Fairand also appeared at the Los Angeles County Fair and Orange County Fair.
While Dina’s well received and critically acclaimed 2013 debut EP Miles and Miles drew upon key influences like Alanis Morissette, Sheryl Crow and Jewel, she does an explosive and exciting 180 on her latest EP With My Shades On. Miles and Miles was produced by her mentor, veteran contemporary jazz singer-songwriter Mark Winkler, and the set was arranged by another renowned performer, pianist/keyboardist Jamieson Trotter.
After a particularly prolific period of songwriting, Dina teamed up with Jay P and has since developed an exciting partnership that has taken her artistry to an exciting new level. “I’ve always been confident in my abilities as a songwriter, but I feel even bolder now with this new groove and sound.” she says.
“I feel like I’m in a great place in my life and these songs reflect my strength, confidence and ability to overcome personal and professional challenges. Many producers who create the sounds Jay does tend to overwhelm the artist with their production, but he has the unique ability to transform the songs rather than change them, with my voice, personality and individuality as the driving force.”
She later participated in every performance and talent show she could sign up for. During her senior year, Dina performed her first solo acoustic show, where she had the opportunity to play six songs in a row. “I got all my friends out to see me and I was hooked!” she says.
Dina is still hooked (while continuing to write killer hooks!) on the joy of performing for audiences, on singing and playing her guitar and writing more songs which she plans to license to TV and film as her solo career continues. An all-around creative talent, she says, “I’ve done a little of everything, from acting to singing in bands and a capella – and none of those experiences are as meaningful to me as writing and singing my own songs and performing them for audiences who connect with where I am coming from.
The most important things I look for in a song are ‘how does this make me feel ?’ and ‘What is the story?’ The best part of the creative journey has been discovering my true self in the process. This is always going to be what my life is about.”
